About Emilio
I am a seasoned educator with over 30 years of experience teaching medical and biomedical sciences at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I earned my medical degree in 1984 and completed a doctorate in biomedical sciences in 2006.
My teaching expertise encompasses a wide range of subjects, including molecular and cellular biology, histology, anatomy and physiology, immunology, public health, clinical research methodology, writing, and scientific publication. I have also worked in biotechnology centers and have a strong record of scholarly achievement, with nearly 40 scientific articles published in high-impact journals. These articles have garnered approximately 300 citations, resulting in an h-index of 10.
I am proficient in modern teaching methods and technologies. My medical and doctoral degrees have been officially recognized as equivalent to U.S. degrees, and I have the necessary documentation to support this claim.
