About Alden
I am a 20-year-old full-time pre-medicine student at USF. I have maintained a 4.0 while at college and feel very confident in the subject material at hand. I work at a doctor's office as a medical assistant part-time and manage a high school class on the side that provides students with lectures from doctors in the local Tampa Bay area. I find great fulfillment in contributing to others' academic success and I find it very fun to engage myself and others in oftentimes daunting courses.

Primarily for College students. I have experience tutoring classmates General Chemistry 1 , 2, and Intro to Chemistry after lectures at my previous institution as a hobby. I provide multiple approaches and use an "individual based learning style" to tailor instruction to your specific needs, and learning preferences.
Typical Lesson plan...
1 -Find area of misunderstanding.
This involves inferring to your specific needs and checking your current understanding with a few questions. This will help me diagnose the area of struggle, and allow me to provide explanations, and exercises to efficiently teach you.
2 -Provide explanation, and sample questions.
cater to individual need, providing memorization tricks and reinforcing new understanding with questions and exercises (increasing in difficulty gradually when ready).
3 -Broad discussion.
Checking understanding of other areas in chemistry and providing the same learning process as needed. Will ask about learning preferences and suggest resources to further the learning process.
4 -Recap/Summarize topics
