About Josh
Having graduated from University of Bristol with a degree in Biomedical Science, I spent two years working for the NHS. My passion and enthusiasm for Science and Maths is coupled with my 8+ years tutoring Maths and Science from 7+ up to and including GCSE. Following university, I regularly research and write content on specific scientific topics to augment my subject knowledge and I bring this academic rigour to his lessons. I have an incredibly understanding and patient mindset, having spent eight months as a teaching assistant at a school for children with autism and learning difficulties. I continue to tutor students of all abilities while studying a Psychodynamic Therapy degree, harnessing useful interpersonal skills that I brings to each lesson. A youthful, fun and engaging approach is the most important thing in my opinion.

I’m a Biomedical Sciences graduate with over five years’ experience tutoring Biology and Maths, currently teaching Maths at an SEN college. I specialise in working with students with ASD and ADHD, using adaptable methods like drawing, storytelling, and Q&A to make lessons fun and memorable.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes and tailored to each learner’s style and goals. I teach GCSE and A-Level students and bring a passionate, engaging approach that helps build confidence and long-term understanding.
