I graduated in 2019 from Suzanne Cory High School with an ATAR of 95.95. English and Chemistry were my top 2 subjects. I have extended my scientific knowledge during the first year of my degree and, feel confident that I can lay a strong foundation for students planning to do 3/4 Chemistry and Biology.

I usually like to begin by outlining the learning objectives for the session. Then, I like to ask the students if they have any questions from previous lessons. Then, I move onto explaining the theory of the topic in an engaging manner (including diagrams, videos, mind maps, etc.). I follow this up with small questions which trigger active recall among my students. Then, we move onto correcting the answers together. I like to end the session by asking if there are any questions or sections that require clarification and, by outlining the homework.
