About Laura
I graduated in 2015 with first class honours in Biomedical Science. I came top of my class two years running at university. I specialised in microbiology but also have experience in genetics, cellular biology, cancer biology and biochemistry.
I have no formal experience in tutoring as yet but I do have three children who I help with homework. I have plenty of experience helping other students with coursework from my own days as a student.

The most important thing to me, when it comes to tutoring, is to listen to my student. I like to understand the areas in which they feel they are struggling; then I can offer help tailored to their needs.
I have various ways of explaining topics and will alter my methodology, depending on the student's needs.
I would prefer to tutor students who need help with GCSE level biology as I feel confident in my ability at this level; however, I am open to helping students at a higher level as well.
