About Nick
I am an undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University studying biomedical engineering and applied mathematics. I tutored about 30 students throughout high school, some of whom were able to attain A's in classes such as AP Statistics, AP Calc BC, and AP Physics, among various other mathematically rigorous courses. Students whom I have tutored now attend notable universities across the country, from Harvard to Berkeley. I am proficient in many different fields of high school and undergraduate math such as calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, and probability/ statistics.

I give lessons in mathematics and chemistry at the high school and lower undergraduate levels. I tend to approach my mathematics teaching from a more holistic, theoretical approach rather than focusing on tricks/ methods for solving a single problem. That way, students are better able to cross-apply what I teach them to other problems they encounter in mathematics. For me, the development of sound mathematical reasoning is the most important concept I try to convey in tutoring sessions.
