About Alyssa
I have been working with younger students for a long time. I work to make sure every student feels seen in their struggles, everyone has something they're not great at. I aim to be a safe space for students to have fun and supplement their learning without the fear of judgment. I didn't have that in secondary education and it is important to me that someone else gets this support. I am punctual and consistent, there will be little to stop me from helping you or your student learn. I look forward to helping you learn!!

I have had experience with teaching younger students, so I make it a point to tailor lessons to each individual student's strengths/weaknesses. I am a big believer in education being structured to make it fun and encourage students to explore their interests. This does not mean the fundamentals will be ignored, students should expect to as hard as they play. I will show students tip and tricks to improve their learning that got me an IB diploma without losing any information. I can work with elementary students, but I do prefer tutoring students in secondary education since I remember that material better. I look forward to helping your student!!
