About Dominic
I have Bachelor and Master of Biology degrees (1st Class with Honours) awarded by the University of Leeds, UK. I am currently completing a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Oxford. As such I have deep subject knowledge and a profound understanding of the scientific method. I have studied and tutored A-level and undergraduate Biology in successful peer-mentoring programmes, utilising my skills to help struggling students attain their goals.

I am personable in my teaching and so I employ patience and discussion to ensure a thorough and comprehensive understanding of subject content. I am able to recognise when a concept is not understood and present it in various ways to suit the student and assist in understanding. I then help students apply this to problems to ensure a deep understanding of subject matter. I call on previously taught concepts to build on foundation knowledge in order to (a) consolidate previously learned material and (b) assist in the understanding of more complex concepts.
