About Freya
Just finishing a high-intensity PGCE at York University, and had a full-time placement in Yorkshire schools for 7 months. I have taught a number of classes of around 30 students. Students in my lessons have on average made higher than expected results by at least half a grade.

My lessons are usually enquiry based, and not teacher spoken. I will facilitate a student rather than spoon feed, through a range of activities such as games, silent debates and pop quizzes. I try to focus on areas that interest my students as these areas tend to lend themselves to build confidence in students to improve the rest of their subject knowledge.
