About Allison
I am a fun-loving, yet dedicated teacher whose goal is to inspire students to push for their dreams and be dedicated to their work, even when it is difficult for them. I was highly involved in school as a student-athlete, as well as being involved in multiple extracurriculars, so I understand the importance of time management and having teachers that have high expectations, while also supporting you appropriately.

My students have consistently outperformed the Dallas district and state of Texas biology exams since my first year of teaching. The reason why is because I try to make biology relatable and engaging, with the use of hands-on activities, labs, and lots of games. My lessons are highly aligned, rigorous, and are constantly being improved to provide my students with the best learning experience. I am also bilingual and ready to help with lower level Spanish courses. As a certified nutrition coach, I am also highly prepared to help with nutrition/health courses.
