About Mae
My interest in biology began when I first learned about the incredible complexity of living organisms and the systems that allow them to function. I was particularly fascinated by how cells perform specialized tasks and how these tiny structures work together to create entire living systems. This curiosity inspired me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences and later complete a Master’s in Biology to study biological processes more deeply.
During the past 9 years, I have taught biology to students from a variety of academic backgrounds who wanted to strengthen their understanding of life science topics. Through my teaching experience, I realized that many learners struggle with biology when they try to memorize large amounts of information without understanding how the concepts connect with each other. Because of this, I focus on explaining biological systems in a logical and connected way.
My teaching style encourages observation, discussion, and thoughtful exploration of biological ideas. I aim to create a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing curiosity about how living systems function. Helping learners understand the complexity of life and build confidence in scientific thinking is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my teaching work.

My biology lessons focus on helping students understand how living organisms function, grow, and interact with their surroundings. Biology is a fascinating subject because it explains the processes that support life, from microscopic cellular activities to complex ecological relationships. In my lessons, I explain biological concepts in a clear and organized manner so students can gradually develop a deeper understanding of how living systems operate.
The lessons usually begin with the foundational topics of biology that help students understand the structure of living organisms. Students first learn about cells, biological molecules, and the classification of living organisms. These topics provide the essential framework for understanding how life is organized and how cells carry out vital processes necessary for survival.
As learners progress, the lessons expand to include genetics, plant biology, animal physiology, and ecological relationships between organisms and their environments. Students also explore how different body systems work together to maintain balance within living organisms. My goal is to help learners develop strong scientific curiosity while building a clear and structured understanding of biological processes that support life.
