About Trisha
My passion for biology began with fascination for the diversity of life and the intricate systems that sustain it. I pursued an M.Sc in Molecular Biology, where I explored cellular mechanisms, genetics, and ecological relationships, gaining a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of living organisms. Over 11 years of teaching, I have helped learners at all levels move from confusion to clarity by breaking complex biological processes into understandable, practical components. I approach teaching with patience, adaptability, and encouragement. Each student has a unique learning style, so I tailor my explanations, use diverse visual aids, and provide real-world examples to strengthen comprehension. I emphasize understanding processes conceptually, helping students connect microscopic events to observable phenomena in the natural world. Beyond the classroom, I remain engaged in research, scientific literature, and biological observation. This keeps my lessons current, relevant, and inspiring. Teaching biology is profoundly rewarding because I witness learners transform from hesitant observers into confident, curious scientists capable of thinking critically about the living world. Biology comes alive when students see how living systems interact at molecular, cellular, and ecological levels. I emphasize understanding relationships between systems rather than memorizing isolated facts.
