About Zane
I am a biology graduate with over 7 years of experience in the medical field including patient care and lab experience. I am currently working for the prestigious Mayo Clinic in their Department of laboratory medicine and Pathology. I offer not only my educational knowledge regarding the medical sciences but also years of knowledge gained from navigating this industry. I hope to provide my students with the tools necessary to navigate any challenges they may face both in and outside of the classroom. As for my programming knowledge, I am entirely self-taught, but I can offer a solid understanding of programming fundamentals. These skills will be a great starting point for anyone looking to pursue the field of computer science. Additionally, I can share many great free online resources that I have used to bolster my own programming knowledge.

My teaching method focuses on building a fundamental understanding of the concepts related to medical sciences or programming. Of course, we will always focus on ensuring you can pass whatever classes you need help in first but more broadly we focus on building critical understanding and analysis skills. These skills will continue to help you take in and synthesize increasingly complex new information as you progress through your career. Lessons are available for individuals in elementary school up to a bachelor's degree so long as the subject matter is related to the above-mentioned fields.
