About Freya
I am a biology tutor with 11 years of experience and a PhD in Molecular Biology. My interest in biology began with curiosity about how living systems function at the molecular level. Over time, this curiosity developed into a passion for teaching and guiding students. I have worked with learners at different levels and helped them improve their understanding and confidence. My aim is to make biology simple, engaging, and meaningful for every student.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I break down complex topics into smaller parts and use diagrams and examples to make learning easier. I also encourage students to think independently and ask questions freely. Creating a supportive learning environment is very important to me. Students feel comfortable sharing doubts and learning at their own pace. I provide regular feedback and guidance to help them improve consistently.
I continue updating my knowledge and improving my teaching methods to keep lessons effective and relevant. Teaching biology is very rewarding because I see students grow in confidence and understanding. I enjoy helping learners develop curiosity and interest in life sciences. My goal is to support students in achieving academic success and strong conceptual clarity. By the end, students feel motivated, prepared, and capable of understanding biology deeply while continuing to build curiosity and strong scientific thinking skills for future learning.

My biology lessons focus on making complex life processes simple and easy to understand through structured explanations and clear examples. I teach topics such as cell biology, genetics, human anatomy, and ecology using diagrams and real-life connections. This helps students understand how biology works around them and makes learning more meaningful. Each lesson is carefully planned so students can follow step by step without confusion. I create a supportive and friendly environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Practice questions and discussions are included in every session to improve understanding and confidence.
Lessons are customised based on each student’s level and pace of learning. Beginners focus on basic concepts with simple explanations and visual support. Intermediate learners explore body systems, biological processes, and functions in more detail. Advanced students focus on genetics, evolution, and exam preparation strategies. I provide clear explanations and regular feedback in every session. Students are encouraged to explain concepts in their own words, which improves clarity and retention. Biology becomes more interesting when students understand how concepts connect with real life. My goal is to help learners feel confident and comfortable with the subject.
