I have a Biology major and have worked as a middle school and high school Biology and Chemistry teacher in two bilingual schools in Mexico. I moved to the US eight years ago and I’m looking forward to working in the education field again.

I start by engaging students with questions, a poster, a biofact, something that wakes up their curiosity and channels it to the broader instruction. I like to use examples or situations that can connect the topic with their personal experiences. When possible, I organize hands on activities or challenges where the students work individually or in teams to
solve a problem or find an answer.
