About Raven
My name is Raven and I am currently studying for my PhD in Animal Behaviour. I studied Biology for GCSE and A Level, so I understand the pressure and stress you feel. Things didn’t go the way I had hoped for me during my school exams, but I persevered and achieved my goals regardless with much more experience along the way! That means you can do it too and I will be here to help you along the way.

GCSE and A Level are extremely stressful times for students and often Biology concepts can be difficult to wrap your head around. Standard teaching techniques provided in schools many times are not enough to gain full understanding which fuels stress and anxiety! I aim to ensure understanding through different ways of explaining topics and different learning techniques because many times a “one-fits-all” approach does not work for all students. I also focus on exam technique as this can make a real difference and is a skill in itself. Most importantly, I teach my students self-confidence in their abilities and try to ease their anxieties about achieving certain grades during the high-pressure exam season.
