About Shahmeer
I'm Shahmeer, a second-year Biochemistry student at the University of Leicester with a genuine passion for science and helping others understand it. I achieved top grades in my science GCSEs, including a 9 in Biology, 8s in Chemistry, Physics and Maths, and I'm now applying that knowledge at degree level every day.
Outside of my studies, I'm President of the University of Leicester Esports Society, managing a community of over 1,000 members and leading a committee to deliver events to a high standard. It's taught me how to communicate clearly, take responsibility, and adapt to different people, skills I bring directly into tutoring.
I'm patient, well-organised, and committed to making sure every student I work with actually understands the material, not just memorises it. Whether you're preparing for GCSEs or pushing for top A-Level grades, I'll meet you where you are and help you get where you need to be.

I'm a second-year Biochemistry student at the University of Leicester, offering tutoring in Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE and A-Level. My sciences are where I'm strongest. I got a 9 in Biology, 8s in Chemistry, Physics and Maths at GCSE, and I'm now studying Biochemistry at degree level, so I know this material inside out.
My approach is straightforward: I find where a student is struggling, break the concept down to its core, and build understanding from there rather than just drilling past papers. I've done this informally with peers at university and the feedback is always that I explain things clearly without overcomplicating them.
Sessions are typically one hour, though I'm flexible depending on what the student needs. I'm patient, reliable, and I adapt to how each student learns best, whether that's working through exam questions, going back to basics, or tackling specific topics they're stuck on.
I'm based in Aylesbury and available part-time throughout summer 2026. Ideal for GCSE students wanting to build real understanding, or A-Level students needing solid subject knowledge explained clearly.
