About Michal
I am a plant biochemist. I have worked at the laboratories in Kew Royal Botanic Gardens, I have a MSc degree in Phytochemistry (plant chemistry) from UCL and I am finishing up a PhD in which I researched the biochemistry of the yam genus.
I've never found maths or sciences easy, but always found them interesting and wanted to step up to the challenge. Coming to the end of my PhD in biochemistry, I look back and think about all the difficulties I have overcome and want to help others facing similar challenges. I have dyscalculia and have never found maths easy, however, because I have had these challenges I believe I can effectively help others with similar challenges.

If you let me know in advance what topics you would like assistance with, I can prepare a presentation and provide a powerpoint slide (that you can save, print out and use as flash cards) with explanations of the topic, necessary formulas. I will also prepare practice problems/questoins to go over to make sure you can apply what you learn for the exam.
I am also willing to teach hobbyists and enthusiasts about the botany, plant care and horticulture.
