About Lauren
I have been personal tutoring students in math, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and biochemistry for over 5 years now. I spent a semester as a lab TA for chemistry for engineers, teaching classes of 24 students each throughout the week. My office hours were not only full for lab student questions, but different ways to learn subjects from the lectures.

I'm an expert in getting students from memorizing and regurgitating information to being able to interact with any type of problem to find a solution. Often will start by teaching by example problems, lead you through to an answer by asking prompting questions. You will go from memorizing information of a subject to knowing how to use memorized information to solve any problem.
As a former chemistry TA for chemistry for engineers, I not only can teach life sciences, but any type of STEM major. I relate material to the individual and how it may be important in the future.
