About Anoushka
Having only recently finished my GCSEs and A-levels, I understand the pressure and anxiety students can feel during exams. That’s why I aim to make my sessions enjoyable, stimulating and supportive by pushing students to do their best while keeping the learning environment as stress-free as possible. I have already had experience tutoring in music for a while, helping younger friends succeed in their GCSE maths and mentoring Year 6 students as they transitioned into secondary school. For me, tutoring isn’t just teaching—it’s one of the most rewarding jobs, because it’s about building confidence and inspiring students to pursue their ambitions

I have always loved sharing knowledge, whether in science, music, or anything I could get my hands on to learn. However, I was not naturally strong at science and during my studies, I often found it difficult to grasp concepts just by looking at what was written on the board. To truly understand, I had to find different ways to break things down and visualise them, rather than simply memorising. What helped me thrive most was my curiosity as I loved asking questions. That’s why, as a tutor, I want my students to feel completely comfortable asking me anything. No question is ever too small or “silly.” I strongly believe in moving forward only once the concept is fully clear.
