About Chanel
I am a recent graduate from the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music in London specialising in Popular Music Performance in Electric Guitar. I mainly specialise in RnB, Funk and Jazz styles but have also studied Cuban and Brazilian musical styles, and Pop.

I can teach beginner and intermediate students in both primary and secondary school, as well as adults.
I aim to develop a student's musical 'vocabulary', and teach chords, songs and solo lines. I give handouts and folders to students to keep them organised and to be able to see the progress they have made visually.
I also aim to develop musical theory, which can be applied to all types of music.
Ultimately, I believe music is to be enjoyed and encouraging young people to play instruments and have fun doing so is at the heart of my lessons.
