About Anthony
My Approach to Tutoring – Professional, Personalised & Confidence-Building I believe that learning a language should feel enjoyable, encouraging, and fully tailored to each student. As a bilingual Spanish–English speaker with a multicultural background and childhood spent in A Coruña, I bring authentic language skills, cultural understanding, and clear, structured teaching to every lesson. Teaching Methodology My classes follow a communicative, student-centred approach. I focus on practical Spanish you can use immediately—whether you’re speaking with locals, handling everyday situations, or building overall fluency. Lessons combine: Engaging conversation practice Clear, step-by-step grammar explanations Pronunciation and listening work Real-life scenarios and cultural insights Personalised exercises based on your goals I adapt my teaching style to each learner, offering a supportive environment that builds confidence and makes progress feel natural and achievable.

My Approach to Tutoring I teach Spanish using a practical, communicative approach focused on real-life situations and everyday language. My lessons blend conversation, listening practice, cultural insight, and clear explanations of grammar when needed. I adapt my methods to each student’s goals—whether that’s improving fluency, building confidence, preparing for life in Spain, or strengthening grammar foundations. Techniques & Methodology Communicative, conversation-based learning Step-by-step grammar explained in simple terms Focus on pronunciation and natural expression Cultural context from my experience growing up in A Coruña Tailored exercises, role-plays, and real-life scenarios Bilingual support (Spanish & English) for clearer understanding Lesson Length A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I also offer 45-minute or 90-minute sessions depending on your preference and learning style. Qualifications & Experience I am a bilingual speaker with a Spanish father, English mother, and childhood spent in northern Spain. My natural fluency in both languages allows me to teach Spanish in a clear, accessible way, especially for English speakers and expats adjusting to Spanish life. Who My Lessons Are For I teach: Beginners to advanced learners Expats living in or moving to Spain Adults and teenagers Anyone wanting to improve conversation, grammar, pronunciation, or confidence My goal is to make Spanish enjoyable, practical, and personalised—helping you progress at a pace that feels right for you.
