About Lingxin
I'm a postgraduate student eager to help international students connect to their host country. Over the years, I have met many international students who have expressed concerns of language proficiency. I believe that many of them are misguided by their own ways of learning. Learning should be integrated. I am an international student too, so I know it is hard to be on the other side of the wall. I will do my best to help you understand culture and people through language.

I'd like to think of language as pertaining to a culture. The best way anyone can learn a language has to be genuine and come from curiosity of the culture or people. Treating people regardless of their backgrounds is the key to mastering a language. I would start off with giving 40-min lessons and see how it goes. I'm of no teaching background, but I would like to help international students the best way I can. International students who go to universities in the UK often struggle with making friends locally, which is why my way of teaching can be most effective not just in understanding vocabulary but also in understanding the culture.
