Having studied the English language for over 20 years, specializing in creative writing, literature, and linguistics, and earning my university degree, I am confident that I'll be able to instill, not just an understanding of English, but a passion for it.

Patience and understanding are key to my teaching style. I, myself, am an unconventional learner. I prefer hands-on learning, and applying principles in real time, so often times I end up reteaching myself lessons in ways that I can grasp and retain the material. And because we all learn differently, I will work with you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, and determine the best way to break down concepts into digestible parts. For example, I speak English and Spanish fluently, so I find it helpful to make connections between the two. Likewise, I will help you relate new concepts to ones you already understand.
