About Vy

Hello! My name is Nguyễn Trần Thảo Vy.
I am a dedicated English educator with four years of professional teaching experience, an official IELTS 8.0, and an academic background in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) here in the UK. Over the years, I have worked with diverse learners—ranging from young students building foundational skills to adults and candidates preparing for IELTS and TOEIC.
Having navigated the journey of language learning myself to an advanced academic level, I understand both the excitement and the challenges that come with mastering English. My approach focuses on making lessons practical, structured, and engaging, so you feel supported every step of the way.
Why I Want to Teach
Teaching for me is far more than delivering grammar rules or vocabulary lists—it is about empowering individuals.
Unlocking Opportunities: Language is a bridge to new academic, career, and personal goals. Seeing my students gain the confidence to speak fluently, pass high-stakes exams, or communicate effortlessly in global environments is the most rewarding part of my work.
Transforming Complexity into Clarity: I love taking complex concepts—whether it is academic essay logic, pronunciation nuances, or advanced grammar—and breaking them down into clear, manageable steps that actually make sense.
Building Student Confidence: Many learners hesitate because they fear making mistakes. I teach because I want to create a supportive, interactive environment where you feel safe to practice, improve, and realise your full potential.
