About Petra
Hello,
My name is Petra. I am a bilingual Croatian who has spent half their life in England and half in Croatia. I have attained an A grade in Croatian Language and Literature in Zagreb, Croatia, and English Literature at A Level in London. I have a university degree from Goldsmiths College, the University of London.
I have over 4 years of experience working as a private tutor in London offering one-to-one lessons in Croatian. Vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, reading and writing modules included. Students of all ages and levels of knowledge welcome. As a flexible and creative individual, I am able to provide lessons to meet students' individual requirements and personal interests.

Lessons cover conversation, pronunciation, speaking, grammar, reading and writing.
Before taking on a new student, I will meet with them to discuss their particular requirements and agree on the kind of tuition that would be most suitable.
I use textbooks and exercises which are published and used by the University of Zagreb in Croatia, to teach native English speakers the Croatian language.
I work together with my students to deliver material and lesson plans that are tailored to their particular interests and needs. I will make the classes relevant to you.
I add Croatian popular culture, newspapers, books and history into the mix.
I provide students with exercises and activities they can do at home following each session.
Sessions are usually for the duration of 2 full hours at a location convenient for us both - this might be a public place like a local cafe, or at the student's home.
