About Desmond
I am a native speaker (American) with a degree in French as well as a double master's degree in English studies and English education. I have worked for thirteen years in secondary and higher education (University of Orleans, CNRS, ESAD Orleans, middle and high school), as well as online with Chinese students between the ages of 7 and 15 years.

I adapt my lessons to the needs of each learner according to their goals and abilities. My objective is to guide and support my students as they progress at their own pace, as well as pushing them to expand their limits. In each course, I give advice and resources for self-study between lessons, to help make a regular language practice authentic and fun. The lessons can therefore focus on putting into practice what the student most needs to work on, and on explaining and clarifying difficult points and concepts. I am also specialized in English exams such as the TOEIC.
