About Bianca

I am a passionate educator with experience in school teaching, university lecturing and online tutoring. I hold a Master's degree in Positive Psychology, which has deepened my interest in learning, personal growth and helping others reach their potential.
I have taught across many phases and lecture PGCE and Psychology students. As a former teacher, I also have experience working with learners at different levels and understand the importance of adapting to each student's needs.

I am patient, approachable and genuinely enjoy helping others understand something they may have struggled with. I believe that learning should be an encouraging experience where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence.
Outside the classroom, I am passionate about positive psychology, education and personal development. I enjoy seeing people grow in confidence, discover their abilities and realise what they are capable of achieving.

About the lesson

I believe that every learner can improve when they receive the right support and guidance. My aim is to make learning easier to understand, help students build confidence and create an environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I have experience teaching Grade 5 English, lecturing English subject methodology to PGCE students, and tutoring English online. I also hold a Master's degree in Positive Psychology.
As a former schoolteacher and lecturer, I can assist with a range of subjects and learning needs, particularly at primary school level. My main areas of focus are English, reading, spelling, grammar, comprehension, writing and study skills. I also offer high-school English support, academic writing assistance for tertiary students, and guidance with English teaching methodology for students.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit the individual. Whether you need help understanding schoolwork, preparing for exams, improving your writing or developing greater confidence in a subject, I will work with you to identify areas of difficulty and help you make progress.

My teaching philosophy is patience support and practicality. I want my students to improve their marks, but also develop a better understanding of their work and feel more confident in their abilities.
I look forward to helping you reach your learning goals!
