About Guillermina
Independent artists and gigging musicians often find that finishing a track feels harder than starting one. I admit that my own process for 8 years has been rooted in trial and error rather than pure inspiration. Transforming rough ideas into finished work requires a focus on structure and perspective that I have spent a long time refining.
My approach emphasizes editing and rewriting because the best songs are rarely the first draft. I have spent 8 years helping people find their voice through the specific mechanics of songwriting.
We look at how verse, chorus, and bridge work together to create a compelling story. Writing over chords should feel like an intuitive conversation instead of a rigid academic exercise.
Whether you are working to a brief or exploring your point of view, I provide the structure to keep you moving. Finding the right chord progressions is just the first step in mastering the craft.

My degree from NYU Steinhardt provides the foundation for our technical approach to chords and structure. You might find that the process is actually quite straightforward. Just bring your instrument and we can start whenever you are ready.
