About Shafik
Shafik Palis, a Berklee College of Music alumnus, has been playing the keyboard since the age of five, fostering a lifelong passion for music. With over 20 years of professional experience in the music industry, he has performed and collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as Ricky Martin, Carlos Vives, and Maluma. Shafik’s career includes composing and arranging music for major productions on platforms like Disney+, Nickelodeon, and Telemundo. As a five-time Latin Grammy winner and multi-Latin Grammy nominee, Shafik brings a wealth of real-world expertise to his teaching. He focuses on helping students not only master piano technique but also develop a deep understanding of music theory, performance, and creativity. His teaching combines his professional experience with a nurturing approach, tailored to inspire students of all levels to achieve their musical goals.
