I received a Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley in May 2020. I have taken several course work across several disciplines and tutored kids age 5-18 from a local after school program during my free time.

I like to first find out the student's learning style so that I can tailor my teaching method accordingly. For example, I would use more conceptual diagrams for visual learners, and create models for kinesthetic learners. I also like to help them see the bigger picture; I like to explain how this is relevant in their own daily lives. I believe that encouraging curiosity keeps students highly motivated throughout school.
