About Mia

Allow me to introduce myself – I'm currently a senior student majoring in Accounting, eagerly navigating the world of numbers and finance. But that's not the only story I have to share. For the past 2 years, I've been delving into the art of teaching Chinese to non-native speakers. The joy of helping others embrace this beautiful language has been a rewarding journey.

Beyond the classroom, I've had the privilege of interning in the realm of international affairs. These experiences have broadened my horizons and allowed me to see the world from different perspectives. But what truly excites me is making new connections. I thrive on meeting people from all walks of life, learning about their experiences, and sharing stories of my own.

What's more, you can find me embracing various hobbies. From strumming the guitar to tinkling on the piano, from losing myself in melodies to getting lost in the pages of a good book – I find solace and excitement in these activities. Physical pursuits like table tennis, swimming, and hitting the gym keep me energized and balanced.

Traveling is another passion of mine. Exploring new places, savoring local delicacies, and soaking in different cultures is an adventure I can't resist. If you share any of these interests or have your own unique experiences to bring to the table, we'll have a wealth of topics to dive into.

And hey, if exams are on your mind, worry not! I'm all about tailoring my approach to your specific needs. Your success is my success, and I'm here to provide the support and preparation you need.

I'm genuinely looking forward to the vibrant and insightful conversations we'll have in our classes. Let's create a dynamic and enjoyable learning experience together!

About the lesson

Step into the world of Chinese language learning with me as your guide, and get ready for a journey that's not just educational, but exhilarating! As a tutor, I believe in infusing every lesson with the excitement of exploration and discovery.

My teaching method is like a colorful tapestry, weaving together traditional techniques with modern creativity. Imagine us diving into interactive activities, where language comes alive through role-playing, games, and multimedia resources. You won't just be learning Chinese – you'll be experiencing it!

Let me paint you a picture of a typical lesson plan: we start with a splash of review to warm up, setting the stage for the main act – new language concepts. But here's the twist – instead of dry lectures, we immerse ourselves in engaging scenarios. From ordering street food in Beijing's bustling markets to navigating a conversation at a traditional tea ceremony, you'll be speaking and experiencing Chinese in contexts that matter.

Now, what makes me stand out as a tutor? It's my secret blend of adaptability and enthusiasm. Your learning style is like a fingerprint, and I'm here to tailor my approach to match it perfectly. I celebrate mistakes as stepping stones to success, creating an atmosphere where you feel comfortable taking risks and embracing challenges.

Who are my lessons for? Anyone with a craving for Chinese knowledge! Whether you're a language lover, a student prepping for exams, a globetrotter gearing up for an adventure in China, or a business professional looking to bridge cultural gaps, my lessons are a perfect fit. No matter your degree of expertise, whether you're just starting or already have a foundation, my aim is to make your learning experience as vibrant and unforgettable as the language itself.

So, buckle up for a language-learning escapade that's not confined to textbooks and lectures, but spans the realm of culture, communication, and connection. Together, we'll turn every lesson into a thrilling chapter of your own Chinese saga!
