About Melodia
I am Melodía (yes, your eyes are ok, it's Melodía), a 24-year-old audiovisual producer. From the age of 12, photography came to me thanks to my grandfather. He gave me my first analog camera, at first I did not understand what it was about. I was wondering what's the trick? How do I see the image before capturing it if there is no screen? And at that moment I discovered the most beautiful and important element of the camera: the viewfinder, and how we position our eye on it. I studied photography at EAF, and Image and Sound Design at UBA, because my love for the static image led me to get to know the moving image :) I also specified myself thanks to several courses in gastronomic photography, since eating and taking photos are my two favorite things in the world. I gave basic photography courses in help centers for street children, I was a teacher at my University of Lighting and Camera, and I organized many photography meetings outdoors. On my arrival in Barcelona I worked as a tourist photographer and currently I am working as an audiovisual director in a start-up, but my desire to teach will always remain with me!

My teaching method was created thanks to all the classes I had and the number of teachers who taught me. First we will have a conversation / meeting to get to know each other and so I can know if you know some aspects of photography or if you are new to this! We will go through the important points of the camera, either analog or digital, then technical aspects to be able to take photographs manually (chill, I can give you this whole part of the photography without being super boring haha). We will also see types of frames, how to sharpen our eyes when capturing an image, and if you are interested, we will be able to see the fundamentals of lighting (which I love, since without light the image would not exist). We will also be able to see references from different photographers to analyze their work and soak up ideas. And everything you want to add! Since the classes will be custom designed.

Excelente profesional y muy cálida dando clases. Melodía ha enseñado en la Universidad de Buenos Aires. También ha realizado proyectos solidarios enseñando fotografía en villas de Buenos Aires (Argentina). Luego, en Barcelona, trabajó para diversas agencias de fotografía. La recomiendo.
Es una enamorada de la imagen, sin dudas se nota a la hora de dar clases. Yo no sabía nada de fotografía y me enseñó a sacar mis propias imágenes con las técnicas que estaba buscando. Recomiendo 100%
