About Amy
I am Amy van Staden, a final-year BEd Intermediate Phase student who is passionate about teaching and working with children. I chose teaching because I love helping learners grow in confidence and discover their own potential. I strongly believe that when lessons are fun, engaging, and exciting, real learning takes place. Creating a positive environment where learners feel comfortable to try, make mistakes, and enjoy the process is at the heart of my teaching approach.

My Afrikaans lessons are interactive, fun, and designed to make learning exciting. We play games like parts-of-speech Bingo to help learners recognize nouns, verbs, and adjectives with confidence. Sentence structure is taught like building a puzzle, where each piece fits perfectly, helping learners understand Afrikaans instead of memorizing it.
