About Nabeel
Have you ever met someone that loves sharing knowledge? That is me, and it is not just in accounting. I am passionate about sports and stats, Formula 1 and racing, numbers, equations and charts. For some, I am a nerd, but for others I am someone that is willing to go the extra mile to help you succeed. I have a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance and Marketing, after which I pursued my Honors Degree in Finance. At matric level, I achieved the highest mark in my area cluster of 97% in the final exam. I have a 2-year proven record in tutoring privately and am looking to broaden that scope by adding helping YOU to my portfolio.

Accounting is what you were taught it to be in grade 8. Assets = Owner's Equity + Liabilities. This concept carries through until you graduate university and once grasped, the possibilities are endless. If the basics are perfected, paving the way to tackling complex questions becomes significantly easier. A common misconception around accounting is the need to memorize rather than understanding what concepts mean. In-depth concepts can be broken down into single words that clearly define what they stand for. Simplicity is the name of the game. The initial lessons are the most important as most of the time will be utilized to understand and grasp concepts. Once I feel you are ready to tackle questions and exercises, we will move on. The sooner we tackle the basics, the sooner we are able to learn and love accounting. I am able to assist students at all levels, but am not experienced with students that have learning disabilities. I have in my experience, helping failing students pass and average students excel with distinctions. I am patient in my approach, but also realistic when it comes to each student's potential to achieve greatness. I understand that while accounting is easy for some, it is not for others and in these cases, I focus on concepts that are winnable and can extract the maximum benefit and results from. Note, all lessons are taught in English
