About Marin
I moved to the UK from France when I was 18 to study Professional Musicianship at university. I have been professionally active in the music scene ever since.
I am currently involved in 3 different music projects, all in different music styles (folk, dance and alt-rock).
To me, music is more than just technical knowledge, it is being part of a community, and overall a great thing to share with friends and new people.

I started playing bass at age 8, learning straight away in the context of playing with other people. That hands-on approach shaped how I teach today.
Lessons focus on groove, feel, and contextualised theory. Most of all, the goal is to enjoy playing — I believe having fun is what makes you progress.
I teach all genres: I’m always happy to discover new styles with my students.
