About Matthew
I’ve played violin and viola for 8 years and am capable of effectively teaching beginners about not only playing their instrument, but also things like instrument care and music theory concepts. The student will need to bring their own instrument - but I can provide sheet music and coursework.

We will study the fundamentals of playing violin and viola - from simple music theory concepts to key technicalities in form. Play beginner and intermediate sheet music, learn how to properly play the instrument, vibrato, and develop strong practice habits to become a more skilled musician.
