About Jan
I have a software engineering background but also other academic qualifications, such as an MBA in leadership and management. I teach Web- and Mobile development, i.e. HTML5, JavaScript, PHP, CSS, etc.). I am also volunteering for the CSIRO as a member of their 'STEM Professionals in Schools program' giving lessons in a variety of coding concepts, programming languages and general STEM topics.

My teaching methodology is a mixture of project-based learning and cooperative learning. I am flexible enough to be able to adjust to the level of pre-existing knowledge of the group or individual student. I often start from a point where there is no prior knowledge or experience required, especially in my code club, but can also adjust to more advanced experience levels..
