About Gil
I have been a dance instructor since the mid 1970s, and a director since the early 1980s. The number of students I have taught are in the thousands. Many have gone on to professional performing and teaching careers on Broadway, ballet companies, colleges and dance conservatories.

My name is Gil McNaughton, and I offer classes in tap, jazz, and ballet, as well as Dance History to students of all ages and levels. Teaching styles include: Ballet - classical, Jazz - modern/Broadway, Tap - classical tap from the 1930s -'70s (emphasizing the use of arms). Having worked for over 15 years as a professional dancer I consider myself a consummate teacher, but with the ability and patience to instruct less advanced students of all ages.
