About Michelle
I value personal goals that beginners have in their dancing journey and help them achieve that by making careful observations and corrections according to their physical and anatomical capabilities. I tailor classes to the needs and goals of every student, making sure to check in with your individual progress in this creative and explorative journey together. It’s never too late to start ballet now!

I base my teaching on my experience dancing professionally and years of teaching beginner students. The methodology will mainly be RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) method, with a sprinkle of Vaganova (Russian) and Cecchetti (Italian). I value the importance of proper technique especially for beginners, to get you off on the right foot for the long-run. It won’t be fancy at first glance, but the foundational technique is so important for safety in execution (first and foremost) and building a strong base for more advanced movements.
