About Nour
I am a senior at the University of Massachusetts Lowell studying Computer Science. Throughout my time at UML, I have consistently excelled in all my courses, especially my programming classes. I have a 4.0 GPA and two years of relevant experience in the industry. Upon graduating from UML I already have a full-time software engineering position lined up for me. If you work with me, I will not only be able to teach you the technical details, but also how to best position yourself for success in this industry.

Hello,
Depending on what language you would like to focus on the details might vary slightly, but this is the general intro progression.
Intro:
1. What is a computer/what is programming?
2. Write first Hello World Program
3. Variables
4. Control Flow (Conditional logic, loops, etc.)
5. Input/Output
6. Functions
7. OOP (depending on language)
Once the above have been mastered, we can move on to more advanced topics like Data Structures, Algorithms, etc.
All concepts will be reinforced by hands-on programming assignments and activities. I am a firm believer in learning by doing. You need to actually build projects and write meaningful programs to become a good programmer.
I have experience teaching students as a substitute teacher, and I work for the Computer Science department at my school as a grader.
