About Lizemarie

Hi! I’m Lize-Marie Els, and I’m 25 years old. I’m a qualified teacher and personal trainer with a strong background in science and education. I hold a BSc degree in Physiology and Microbiology, and during my studies, I also explored Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, and Biochemistry—so I understand the bigger picture when it comes to science! After graduating, I started teaching English online and quickly discovered how much I enjoy helping others learn. That passion led me to complete my PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education), qualifying me as a Natural Sciences and Life Sciences teacher. I also spent time as a teaching intern, where I primarily taught Grade 8–9 Math and occasionally Grade 10 Math. These experiences deepened my love for teaching and shaped the way I approach each lesson—with care, flexibility, and a genuine desire to inspire a love for learning. Whether we’re tackling tricky biology topics, working through a math problem, or building confidence in science, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My lessons are tailored to suit you. I take time to understand how you learn best and adapt my teaching to meet your specific needs, goals, and learning style. Whether you're a visual learner, someone who enjoys hands-on examples, or prefers a step-by-step explanation—I’ll meet you where you are.

I believe learning should never be one-size-fits-all. That’s why I create flexible, engaging lessons that make space for questions, curiosity, and personal growth. Each session is thoughtfully planned but remains adaptable, so we can shift the pace or approach depending on what works best for you.

Above all, my aim is to help you feel confident, supported, and motivated—while making learning enjoyable and meaningful.
