About Finn
I have been writing, recording and producing my own original music since the age of 16. I am experienced in many different genres - from electronic, to pop, to jazz, to singer-songwriter and folk music. My musical journey began on the piano at a young age, and since then I have played trombone, electric and acoustic bass (which I pursued to the university level), guitar, voice, synthesizers and DAWs. I have been teaching music for the past 4 years for various instruments, to people of differing age, skill and experience levels.

My teaching methods are 100% adapted to suit my students needs. I always make a point of setting goals with my students in order to cater my teaching directly to the areas in which they want to improve. When teaching composition, production and songwriting, I make a point of not imposing my own compositional ideas. Instead, I provide students with compositional tools and theoretical knowledge which I think would be beneficial to their musical development in relation to their individual goals. I want to help you find your voice.

Finn is actually my third teacher, i didn't stay long with my other two teachers. I felt the classes were too formal and dare i say uninspiring but with Finn right away we connected musically and he really tailored the classes to my personal taste, skills and where i was exactly with my music playing which made me comfortable very quickly. I recommend Finn to anyone who's serious about learning music and those who simply want to learn to basics and play around just for fun! 10/10
