Ashlyn has dealt with a lot of adversity in her academic career. I appreciated that she was honest and let me know where she was coming from and what her previous tutors lacked. Working with her is such a joy because she is eager, prepared, and very interested in learning the material and being comfortable. It helps me be better because I figure out multiple ways to explain topics and be sure she understands. I look forward to helping her finish Algebra 1 and work on Geometry next year!

Kanai is a good, hard-working student who has a very good feel for AP Precalculus. It's very easy to help bridge the gap between what he needs to know for the test and what is and isn't provided by the teacher in class, and lessons tend to fly by. I look forward to working with him more through this class and more!

Both Taylor and Morgan are bright, shining students. Taylor was quick to grasp some moderately difficult concepts in her class, and is good at improvising when certain things don't work. With Morgan, very bubbly, and she is much better in math than she realizes! Both of them are set to go very far, and I look forward to working with the both of them more.

While things were a little bit unorganized to begin with, Alex was very good about getting right down to business once we got a plan together. Already after two lessons I can tell the difference in his understanding, and we will be able to cover everything just in time before his EOC.

Sofia let me know right away she is a little bit intimidated when it comes to numbers and the material, so I reassured her that I would be able to help. She took notes during our session, and made it very easy for me to adapt my style so I could help her out in the best way I could. She asked very good questions, and I look forward to working with her more throughout her class!

Rachel admitted that some of the topics we covered confused her, but once we had our first in-person session (the method she said she learns the best), everything was so smooth. She picked up on things right away and the session was a breeze!

While the class originally seemed a bit overwhelming for Anne, she has made a lot of progress in terms of understanding all of the steps. She's made great strides during our sessions, and with a little practice in between, she will do even better!

Megan was very enthusiastic and ready to go. We were able to go through the concepts extremely quickly, and she left the session with a lot more clarity when it comes to constraints. We'll get more of a foundation as we work through the remainder of the semester.

I knew Marcus would be a good student because he was very attentive and set up a good study plan. When it came to our first lesson, I was amazed. He was there, ready to go, and very willing to take notes throughout the session. He's ready to put in the work, and I am ready to help guide him towards success.

Azat came into the first lesson knowing quite a bit of the material, and was comfortable asking a few questions to cover some specifics. He had a great attitude, and I look forward to working with him the remainder of the school year.

Elijah was great at understanding the concepts with a bit of work, and was quick to grasp the multiplication. He was also very focused, even with a bit of noise and distraction around him.

Taylor was so sweet to work with! She got a lot of the preliminary concepts down, and when I explained the more in-depth issues, she understood quickly and made sure to ask questions to better understand. I look forward to working with her and her brother this year. :)
