About Mabugay,
Hello! My name is Sheen, and I'm from the Philippines. I graduated with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English, and I'm also TEFL-certified. Teaching has always been my passion because I enjoy helping students build their confidence in using English. I'm a patient, enthusiastic, and supportive teacher who believes that learning should be both enjoyable and meaningful. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading books, listening to music, and spending quality time with my family. I have experience teaching English to both young learners and adult students with different English proficiency levels. Throughout my teaching journey, I've helped students improve their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and conversational English. I always adjust my teaching style based on each student's needs and learning pace. For younger learners, I use games, songs, TPR, and visual aids to make lessons fun and interactive. For teenagers and adults, I encourage discussions and real-life conversations to help them become more confident in speaking English. My goal is to create a positive and supportive classroom where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
