About Wilma
I am graduate from the university, hold on a Bachelor's Degree in Education and additional qualifications in Monitoring and Evaluation. I have been tutoring for 3 years now mostly to freshman while in university, I later undertook an intensive teaching practice before graduation at chelstone secondary school from January to March, 2019 where I had an excellent assessment of my teaching skills. Thereafter, I began teaching students online from all over the world that has increased my experience in tutoring.

My approach varies depending on the student’s needs and learning style. However my teaching philosophy is based on encouraging students to think for themselves, using real-world examples wherever possible. I start from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds by asking questions and examples to check understanding continually. I believe passionately in the huge value of tutoring to students and take great satisfaction in seeing my students achieve their full potential.
