About Heerah
I moved to Australia at the age of five and struggled to speak basic English. I was bullied and made fun of, however I never gave up thanks to the teachers and tutors who guided me through school. Through tutoring I was able to learn to read, write and speak English fluently, learning along the way many skills and techniques that I apply to teaching today.
I have been professionally tutoring for more than three years and I have had the opportunity to work with children and adults from all walks of life.
I am currently completing my graduate diploma and Master of Teaching in primary and secondary education.

My lessons on average, are around 1 to 1.5 hours and focus primarily on mathematics and English for students from year 1 to 10.
I have been tutoring professionally for over 3 years and I have experience tutoring neurodivergent students as well as students with special needs.
I like to take an approach to learning which builds students' confidence. I have found that students generally fall behind when they are not confident, so when they build their confidence and create a positive relationship around academics, they progress and work their way to academic success.
