About Vachan
Hi! My name is Vachan, and I am a passionate STEM student with extensive experience in advanced mathematics, biology, engineering, and competitive academic programs. I believe that the best way to learn is not through memorization, but through understanding concepts deeply and applying them to real problems.
My teaching approach focuses on breaking down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps. During lessons, I first identify a student's strengths and areas for improvement, then create explanations tailored to their learning style. I encourage questions throughout the lesson and use examples, practice problems, and interactive discussions to build confidence and mastery.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by learning a new concept, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. I also provide study strategies, test-taking techniques, and tips for long-term academic success.
What sets me apart is my recent firsthand experience excelling in challenging STEM courses, academic competitions, and leadership activities. Because I have recently learned many of these subjects myself, I understand the common struggles students face and can explain concepts in ways that are relatable and easy to understand.
My lessons are ideal for middle school and high school students seeking help with mathematics, biology, science, study skills, homework support, test preparation, and STEM enrichment.
