About Daksh
I am a dedicated and passionate tutor with proven success in math and science. With over 200 hours of tutoring experience and leadership as President of my school’s tutoring program, I’ve helped many students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. I’m proud to be a multiple-time Waterloo Math Contest school champion (Pascal, Fryer, Fermat), which reflects my deep understanding of complex math concepts and problem-solving skills. I bring this expertise into every lesson, ensuring that students not only learn but also enjoy mastering challenging material. My teaching style is patient, clear, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. Hi, I’m Daksh, an experienced tutor passionate about helping students succeed in math and science. My teaching approach is personalized and interactive, designed to build strong conceptual understanding and boost confidence.
I start by assessing each student’s current level and identifying their strengths and areas for improvement. From there, I tailor lessons to focus on foundational concepts before gradually progressing to more complex problems. I use clear explanations, real-world examples, and step-by-step problem-solving techniques to make challenging topics accessible and engaging.
A typical lesson includes a quick review of previous material, introduction of new concepts, guided practice with immediate feedback, and time for independent problem-solving. I encourage questions and adapt the pace to ensure students fully grasp each topic.
What sets me apart is my track record of success, including winning awards in the Waterloo Math Contests (Pascal, Fryer, Fermat) and over 200 hours of tutoring experience as President of my school’s tutoring program, COY.
