About Staz
I’m Staz, and I’ve been fortunate enough to build a career in TV and film, appearing in projects such as Game of Thrones, Supergirl, Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon, and other international productions. Working alongside some incredible artists — both in front of and behind the camera — has shaped my understanding of what this craft really demands: honesty, curiosity, and the willingness to keep learning no matter how long you’ve been doing it. That’s a big part of why I teach. Over the years I’ve played all kinds of roles. From small supporting parts to major arcs — and each one has taught me something different about the craft and the discipline it takes to stay working in this industry. I genuinely believe acting is an ever-evolving process. No matter your level, there is always something new to discover — a deeper layer, a clearer instinct, a braver choice. Keeping that sense of discovery alive is essential not just for craft, but for joy. It’s what keeps the spark from fading. I also believe that part of being an artist is sharing what you’ve learned, not holding it all tightly for yourself. I’ve been guided by extraordinary teachers over the years — including Sarah Mornell, Onaction London, and Diana Castle at The Imagined Life — and I continue to train today. Their generosity, honesty, and insight changed me, and I want to pass that forward. As a coach, my goal is to offer a space where you feel supported, grounded and safe to explore, while also being challenged in a way that helps you grow. Whether you’re stepping into your first scene or preparing for a major audition, I’m here to help you trust your instincts, deepen your work, and navigate the ups and downs of this industry with confidence rather than fear. More than anything, I love watching actors unlock something new in themselves — that moment when the work becomes alive, truthful, and theirs. Helping someone reach that place feels like a privilege every time. If you show up with curiosity and willingness, I’ll meet you fully. We grow the craft together.

Hi, I’m Staz, and I’m genuinely passionate about helping actors grow. Whether you’re preparing your very first audition or stepping into your next professional role. My sessions are welcoming, collaborative and tailored entirely to you. I work with all levels, and I meet you exactly where you are with zero judgement and a lot of enthusiasm. What you can expect from our lessons: • Professional insight from years of working in TV and film: real, practical tools shaped by on-set experience, constant auditioning, and understanding what today’s industry truly expects from actors. • Support navigating the ups and downs of the profession: how to approach auditions and the craft from a place of play, curiosity and self-trust — rather than pressure or desperation. • Clear, actionable coaching to strengthen your on-camera presence, deepen your character work and make grounded, instinctive choices. • A supportive, encouraging space where you can explore, take risks and build authentic confidence in your craft. • Personalised notes and adjustments so you understand not just what works, but why it works — and how to repeat it. • A focus on sustainable emotional access and truthful performance, without forcing or overwhelming yourself. Whether we’re preparing a self-tape, shaping a character, working on emotional access or breaking down a scene for screen, my goal is always the same: To help you become the most truthful, confident and compelling version of yourself on camera — and to enjoy the process along the way. What can I say…. After acting alongside Staz many many moons ago it was clear I was in the presence of a true professional in his craft. His credits and roles speak for them self, not only does he leave no stone unturned with character development but I can guarantee you’ll find additional layers to your character after coaching with Staz. He’s just one of those annoyingly talented individuals but with an energy that’s unmatched. Being incredibly selective with who I coach with, Staz is one of my go-tos.
Whenever I’m stuck on a script, or having trouble with a character, Ive picked up the phone so many times and called Staz. He has a phenomenal ability to open up the text and challenge me to come up with choices beyond the obvious ones on the page. Adding to that, whenever I find myself having a hard time connecting emotionally to a scene he will give me a variety of tools to help me find my way in. Beyond that, Staz’s boundless optimism and enthusiasm makes you realize that the journey of being an actor is always worth it.
